A.5. I cannot say there was no discrimination. Maybe, at the work place, it is said that such discrimination is not “discrimination” but “distinctions” caused by the difference of skill-level or education-level and so on.

Comments

(1)His presentation was very clear and easy to understand. I don't have knowledge of Muslim immigrants or Amsterdam, so I couldn't ask any question about this theme, so it is very regrettable. I thought that fourth year student's presentations were wonderful. I have to study harder and want to make a great presentation like them next year.

(2)Thank you for your presentation. i think it very interesting that you are dealing with the problem about Muslim immigrants by the aspect of housing policy. In addition to that I am surprised that most local governments in Europe are not in charge of housing problem, and instead of government housing corporation is in charge of it. I have never known that. Your presentation was so clear that i could know much about your presentation. Thank you so much.

(4)To Mr. Tsumura His conclusion was convincible that the cause of geographical concentration of Muslim immigrants in 1980’s was improving their social position. And I can respect him because he could respond the audience’s questions quickly. When I made a presentation, I couldn’t do like him. So I could learn his style. When I listened his presentation, people’s attitudes toward immigrants are somewhat moderate in Netherlands when compared with other countries. I had an image that people can refer to Netherlands example to discuss the immigration problem.

(5)Many dates were used, so it was plain announcement. However, the place was limited too much, so I think the comparison with the other areas is necessary. Though having nothing to do with the announcement, the opinion of Professer Fujikawa about a question was profitable for me.

(6)His presentation was good. For me, I was interested in immigration issue in France, so his theme was quite interesting comparing with French case.
